Every ride matters. Every time a passenger gets on board an All Points Transit vehicle, whether it be at a bus stop or with the assistance of their driver on dial a ride, it means a barrier in their lives has been removed. It means that even though they do not own a car or cannot drive themselves, they will not be prevented from accessing the same quality of life as those who are able to drive their own cars. A ride can mean access to health care. A ride can provide an opportunity to get and hold a job that will provide for their family. Sometimes it means the capability for an older adult to continue living independently, instead of moving into a nursing home. And sometimes, it is the chance to visit with a friend, which can mean the difference between feeling connected instead of lonely and isolated. Every ride matters.
